Why do these peculiar things? Puppets, clowns, and masks. Aren’t they… frivolous? Especially now?
I ask myself these questions often. But I always come back to this simple fact: I do not not want to live in a world without them. Without color and joy and oddity. And if I want them to exist — and I have the talent and inclination to bring them into the world — then I owe it to myself and everyone else to do so.
